Deep Rest Friday is a monthly two-hour workshop designed to help you unwind, restore and sleep better through autumn and winter.

Expect gentle Yin Yoga, dreamy Yoga Nidra, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere with refreshments and a little surprise gift from me to you.

What Is the Deep Rest Friday Workshop All About?

These evenings are a soft landing at the end of a long week. I’ll guide you through:

  • Gentle Yin Yoga – long-held, floor-based postures to release deep tension, hydrate connective tissues and calm the nervous system.

  • Yoga Nidra (“yogic sleep”) – a guided journey into profound rest that supports better sleep, emotional balance and nervous-system regulation.

  • Seasonal reset – space to pause, breathe and carry a sense of calm back into daily life.

What to Expect During the Workshop?

  1. Arrive & Settle (5–10 mins) – tea, get cosy, choose props.

  2. Soothing Yin Sequence (~60 mins) – hips, back, shoulders; slow holds with options for every body.

  3. Guided Yoga Nidra (~25–30 mins) – full-body relaxation and nervous-system reset.

  4. Soft Re-Grounding (5 mins) – breath, gentle stretch, quiet reflection.

  5. Warm Finish (15–20 mins) – hot chocolate & cake, plus time to journal or simply enjoy the calm.

  6. A little surprise gift to take home ✨

  • What to bring: cosy layers, socks, your favourite blanket/cushion if you wish. (Studio props provided. Pyjamas welcome!)
